Where I photograph destination weddings in France
Most of the couples I photograph travel to France from abroad. Some dream of Paris, others of a château in the countryside. Here are the settings I know best, and how I approach each of them.
Paris
A Paris wedding is often intimate: a civil ceremony at a town hall, a dinner in a palace hotel or a private club, portraits in the streets as the light softens. I know the city’s rhythms, so your day can unfold without logistics taking over. Château weddings near Paris
Less than an hour from the city, châteaux such as Château de Méridon in the Chevreuse valley or Château du Vivier in Seine-et-Marne let you gather everyone for a whole weekend without long transfers. Bordeaux and the Southwest
From Château de Garde, close to Saint-Émilion, to Château de Siradan at the foot of the Pyrenees, the Southwest offers vineyards, long summer evenings and a slower pace that guests remember.
